Cat Alebrije
$1,000.00
This feline figure is a gift from my girlfriend when she was in Mexico at the beginning of our relationship. An alebrije is a Mexican handicraft made with papier-mâché or wood, combining elements of imaginary and real animals, and are painted in vibrant colors.
The Cat symbolizes independence, freedom, and being carefree, very similar to how cats are. The tail is a bit loose, but will go back into place when placed. The Alebrije is perched atop the highest ledge overlookingthe main portion of Lucas’ room.
